In a sticky situation ...

I'm really starting to get frustrated with ADHESIVE!  I love my Ad-Tech from Walmart, it's so easy to use, very affordable and I find I can remove it without tearing until it sets... but ... it's that whole remove it without tearing that makes me hate it too, it doesn't seem to hold up the test of time.  So, I went to Tombow for a while - and it's pretty much the same.  Then I tried out the Tombow Multi liquid and while it is VERY strong, man is it messy (or maybe it's just the operator)  Now I"m onto the Glue Glider Pro - and I just ordered it's big sister the Glue Pro Max .... sigh ... I'm just not sure what to use anymore.

So ... here is my request:

Please leave me a comment here and let me know what you like, what you hate, and why.  Maybe you have tried and failed like me, maybe you have a favorite I should try.

And here is the prize - I will put together an assorted package of little goodies - including some of my handmade flowers for your efforts and draw a random name from the entries.

Looking forward to your comments!

spend the evening uploading ....

photo editing, uploading, product picking .... that's how I spent my evening! I just uploaded 5 new layouts to Scrapbook.com - I had been neglecting that site for a while - it just seems to take so long to upload anything.  I tend to beat myself up over it too though - I always strive to be one of the 'favorites' on there, have the most views, the most comments, the most likes .... well alas I'm just not as creative or quality as alot of the others on that site ... I get the odd comment, but not often.

Here is one of the layouts that I posted on there tonight ... let me know what you think, and be sure to check out my gallery on Scrapbook.com

April Challenge

Are you ready for some My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose?  That is the featured line over at Auntie Em's Scrapbooking for the month of April.  Melissa and I were given identical paper this time and asked to come up with our own take on the Scrapbook & Cards Today Calender sketch for the month of April.  I'm really liking how this turned out.

I chose a sepia photo for this paper line as it is just begging to be distressed.  I used the Sew Easy to stitch along the left side of my layout. Used a Tattered Angel;s stamp for the journaling box.  I am just loving the new Tattered Angel's glimmer chips, and chose a dove for my embellishment.  My title is Basic Grey stickers from the Capella line.  The "&" symbol is a thicker that I used Distress Stickles on (peeled paint) and then used clear embossing powder over - but I used too much Versa Mark ink - I was in a hurry so the clear embossing looks rather dull and not shiny ... but I like the way it turned out.  The flowers this time are made with leftover scraps and the George cartridge on my Cricut topped with a Prima centre and a Making Memories brad.

The journaling reads:
A rate moment when you two are getting along.  Vanessa is always putting the choke hold on you Nigel. January 2011

Remember all month long at Auntie Em's Scrapbooking all My Mind's Eye will be on sale 10% off.
